Hello, and welcome to this week's episode of The OBM Educator. It is actually not really an episode. This is going to be a really short message.
I am in the thick of end of summer, back to school, kids being home. Honestly, at some point you might hear them in the background of this. We're losing control over here is what it is.
But I also know that I haven't had a podcast and I didn't have one last week. And I wanted to still come on here and share a little personal message of business, where I'm at and what's coming. So this is going to be very much like not a education podcast.
So if that's what you are here for, I apologize. I'll be back next week, most probably, with more of The OBM Educator big sis type stuff, which is going to be like a fun thing that I'm like leaning into, like your OBM big sister. But for today, I really just kind of wanted to say thank you to everyone who listens.
I'm still blown away by the fact that I'll get on calls with people and they'll be like, Oh my gosh, I love your podcast. Hearing from people that they use what I say during this to help them in their business, which is the goal. And I love that.
But to hear people say that like, I got a client from stuff you said, or I raised my rates from something you said, or I am holding more client boundaries because of something you said like that, to me, oh my gosh, like, that's amazing to me. And I love hearing that. And so thank you to everyone who listens.
And I know that I do keep it kind of high level education stuff. I don't necessarily get too much into like my personal self, but this might be something that you guys can relate to. If you're on my email list, you got an email this morning of me really just being in the thick of it.
But you know, I have three kids. My youngest is at daycare, full-time. My oldest two, they're six and seven.
And so they're in elementary school. School's starting tomorrow, which is pretty early, but they've been in summer camp. And then this is like an off week.
So they've been home and trying to juggle work and kids and life. It gets to be a lot. And so if that's something that you're going through, you are definitely not alone.
And like I wrote in my email this morning, it's like, this is where I would say, but that's why I am so grateful to have my business. And it's like, yes, that's true. But that is not always, it's not, it doesn't always have to be like this positivity with it, right? Like it can be frustrating.
It can be hard. It can be irritating. And that's okay.
Like not everything has to be cheery and yay. I love my business. So just a little, you know, like behind the scenes thing there.
Like if I'm, if I miss a podcast week or something, it's probably because there are kids screaming in the background and I couldn't get a moment to actually like have some quiet and record on top of client work and kids and life and all of that. So just a little behind the scenes thing. But another thing that I did want to share on this little message that is already being a little bit more rambling than I thought it would, but stuff that's upcoming, right? So if you're on my email list, you probably, you should see a lot of the stuff that I do.
I have been releasing more templates. I have more digital downloads that are all really designed to help you depending on where you are in your OBM journey. I also was doing a beta test of this OBM launch sprint, which is a 30 day program time something in Slack with me.
So where you can ask all of your questions and we can go through my, your first 30 days as an OBM calendar, or if you're a bit more along in your business with them, we can just, you know, go through the questions that you have. And I did five beta spots. I'm currently going through them right now and they're amazing and I love them.
And I'm definitely going to be bringing them back to have them on a monthly basis. So if that's something that you're wanting to get, it's, you know, a very high touch level of support. You can share documents, you can share social media posts, you can talk through client problems, right? And so it's just us going back and forth for 30 days.
So be on the lookout because I'm going to be having dates open for September, a September one start date. And I'll be putting all that information in the podcast. But if you want to see like things coming out, joining my email list is probably the way that you'll find things out first.
And you can do that through the link in my show notes. But then also something that I'm excited to have coming soon is I am going to be putting together, I am putting together a membership. And so right now I have a course called Six Week OBM, which is really going to be like that, you know, I'm ready to start my OBM business and I want to make sure everything I'm doing is what I need to be doing.
And so Six Week OBM is going to get you to a setup OBM business ready to take on clients. And then the membership is going to be for new OBM still, or VAs wanting to make that transition, but also really for the OBMs who are more established in their business, who are wanting to, you know, refine their systems and what's going on and how they're doing their client work and making sure their skills are up to date and things like that. And so I am working hard on that right now, and that should be coming out this fall.
So also keep an eye on that. But yeah, things are, you know, moving and grooving over here. And this year has been so amazing in reaching new people, but also just seeing the impact that this podcast has, that my courses have and my products have.
And so I'm just really thankful to everyone who listens and interacts and connects and all of that. I do have one favorite before I do wrap up. I would love for this podcast to reach more people.
And I know so many of you tell me like, I tell all my OBM friends, like, you need to listen to this podcast. And I am so grateful for that. But reviews, reviews are really helpful to getting this podcast in front of new listeners.
